Developing golf courses and other open space is becoming an issue in Southern Nevada.  The City of Las Vegas has been dealing with the issues surrounding the Badlands Golf Course and its development for the past few years.  G.C. Garcia has worked with the property owners and the City on this issue.  The City has been working on developing criteria on how to develop current open space and golf courses, and steps that need to be completed prior to moving forward with the development.  Other jurisdictions in Southern Nevada are working on similar code revisions and criteria.
